The Architects: gmp, Kahlfeldt and Burelli
 
The noted architects at Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp) were the winners of the multistage international contest to design the Upper Eastside Berlin. gmp are responsible for the overall design of the complex and for planning the realization. Their design concept was enhanced with designs by Kahlfeldt Architects in Berlin and Augusto Romano Burelli in Venice, who worked closely with gmp to create the façades of the buildings at Unter den Linden 14 (Kahlfeldt) and Mittelstrasse 62 (Burelli).
